Real Weddings: A Glamorous and Rustic Winter Wedding in Lancaster Part Two

The Booking House is one of those wedding venues where everything about it seems to make for a perfect wedding day, from the ceremony to the reception.  With the twinkling lights, original wide plank flooring, exposed brick, and thick wooden beams this venue is both rustic and modern at the same time.

Amy & Matt’s reception is divine. Between the twinkling lights, the large green and white floral arrangements, and the gold candles, each table was both rustic and glamorous.

The head table is to die for! With greenery and lanterns covering the head table, the sweetheart table was full of romance for the happy couple.

We love this idea for place settings. Each guest was told to look for their “face” (photo of them) and the back had their table number. Love!

The food! Cookie bars and donut bars! Yes, those are maple and bacon covered donuts from Duck Donuts. Such a fun idea!

We are in love with this wedding cake. Simple but pure perfection. The pinecone bride and groom make the perfect winter wedding cake toppers. The greenery provides a simple and classic touch.

Real Weddings: A Glamorous and Rustic Winter Wedding in Lancaster

Wow. After seeing this wedding at The Booking House, we fell in love with the venue and can see why Amy & Matt chose it for their big day.  The Booking House is a beautiful cigar warehouse, built in 1884 and restored in 2014, located in Manheim, Pennsylvania. This Lancaster County venue is full of historic character and rustic, but modern, charm.

Amy & Matt chose to have their ceremony at the venue in the Rizzardi Room. This room is the perfect place for a ceremony-full of rustic charm with wide plank flooring, exposed brick, and thick wooden beams yet glamorous with crystal chandeliers. The lanterns and greenery on the ground added to the charm.

One unique touch for their ceremony: instead of lighting a candle together to symbolize the joining of two families, they watered a tree together. How beautiful!

The gorgeous wedding invitations were simple and clean,  yet the gold added a glamorous glitzy touch.

How unique is this wedding program! We think the newspaper idea is so cute plus it gives a chance to tell guests how you met, how he proposed, and other sweet details.

Photographer Lisa Hornak did an incredible job of capturing every last detail. We love this ring shot on top of a vinyl LP. Creative and different!

The flowers were breath-taking.  The combination of white flowers and greenery is striking. We love how the boutonniere had a little pinecone detail for this winter wedding.

We are loving the lace details and back on this Paloma Blanca wedding gown.  The happy couple took full advantage of the location near train tracks for some gorgeous and interesting shots.

Real Weddings: A Great Gatsby Inspired Wedding in Cape May Courthouse Part Two

“I love her and that’s the beginning and end of everything.”

— F. Scott Fitzgerald

Kevin & Veronica’s wedding was quite the homage to the Roaring 20’s.  Their wedding was clearly inspired by The Great Gatsby with décor like a majestic ice sculpture, a classic black, gold, and ivory color palette, and larger-than-life floral installations.

From top to bottom: (1) The couple pouring a champagne tower. (2) We are loving this champagne tower-such an amazing way to start off a champagne toast. (3) & (4) The amazing head table floral centerpieces. (5) An ice sculpture with the new couple’s last name. (6) The gorgeous wedding cake-gold and white complete with feather boas and pearls. (7) The Gatsby-inspired wedding stationery. (8) A reception sign with the famous Gatsby quote “I love her and that’s the beginning and end of everything.”
