Real Weddings: A Classic NYE’s Wedding in Philadelphia

We love a New Year’s Eve wedding! It’s already the biggest party night of the year-and now it gets to be your party.  Melissa and DJ chose to not only get married on NYE, but to get married at the gorgeous hotel, The Franklin at Independence Park, in downtown Philadelphia.  The venue’s location in Old City meant the couple could get some incredible wedding photos in front of some distinctive Philly landmarks. We are loving the classic City Hall shots-how great does Melissa look in her Hayley Paige dress in front of City Hall! And take a look at her bouquet-can you believe those are silk flowers made by Etsy shop Kate Said Yes?!

Real Weddings: A Classic Winter Wedding at Philadelphia’s Union Trust Part Two

The Union Trust was the perfect setting for Lindsay and Andrey’s wedding. (See the first part of their gorgeous wedding here!) With its soaring sixty-five foot illuminated engraved ceilings, architecturally accented walls, multiple private rooms, and a breathtaking balcony that overlooks the whole site, the Union Trust building blends Philadelphia history with a modern touch.

We love how the two incorporated their dogs into so much of the wedding-the love they have for their pups (and each other) is so beautiful. The wedding was picture-perfect: the larger than life floral installations and floating candle tablesapes by the talented Carl Alan made the Union Trust look glamorous and romantic. The sparkler exit was the finishing touch to a glamorous wedding.
