Real Weddings: A Classic Winter Wedding at Philadelphia’s Union Trust Part Two

The Union Trust was the perfect setting for Lindsay and Andrey’s wedding. (See the first part of their gorgeous wedding here!) With its soaring sixty-five foot illuminated engraved ceilings, architecturally accented walls, multiple private rooms, and a breathtaking balcony that overlooks the whole site, the Union Trust building blends Philadelphia history with a modern touch.

We love how the two incorporated their dogs into so much of the wedding-the love they have for their pups (and each other) is so beautiful. The wedding was picture-perfect: the larger than life floral installations and floating candle tablesapes by the talented Carl Alan made the Union Trust look glamorous and romantic. The sparkler exit was the finishing touch to a glamorous wedding.

Real Weddings: A Classic Winter Wedding at Philadelphia’s Union Trust

There’s so many reasons to love the winter in the city-yes, we said to love winter. Ice skating at Blue Cross River Rink, snuggling up with some hot cocoa in front of a fireplace, the list goes on and on. Once you see these gorgeous photos of a classic winter wedding day in Philadelphia, you’ll love winter too.

Lindsay and Andrey got married on a beautiful day in February at Union Trust in Philadelphia. After an intimate first look at the Loew’s Hotel,  the bridal party went to Washington Square Park for a few photos. For Lindsay and Andrey, their bridal party wouldn’t have been complete without their adorable dogs. So cute!

One of the favorite parts of the photographer was capturing the happy couple walking to Union Trust because of how excited the two were to get married. We love that!

Real Weddings: A Glamorous and Rustic Winter Wedding in Lancaster

Wow. After seeing this wedding at The Booking House, we fell in love with the venue and can see why Amy & Matt chose it for their big day.  The Booking House is a beautiful cigar warehouse, built in 1884 and restored in 2014, located in Manheim, Pennsylvania. This Lancaster County venue is full of historic character and rustic, but modern, charm.

Amy & Matt chose to have their ceremony at the venue in the Rizzardi Room. This room is the perfect place for a ceremony-full of rustic charm with wide plank flooring, exposed brick, and thick wooden beams yet glamorous with crystal chandeliers. The lanterns and greenery on the ground added to the charm.

One unique touch for their ceremony: instead of lighting a candle together to symbolize the joining of two families, they watered a tree together. How beautiful!

The gorgeous wedding invitations were simple and clean,  yet the gold added a glamorous glitzy touch.

How unique is this wedding program! We think the newspaper idea is so cute plus it gives a chance to tell guests how you met, how he proposed, and other sweet details.

Photographer Lisa Hornak did an incredible job of capturing every last detail. We love this ring shot on top of a vinyl LP. Creative and different!

The flowers were breath-taking.  The combination of white flowers and greenery is striking. We love how the boutonniere had a little pinecone detail for this winter wedding.

We are loving the lace details and back on this Paloma Blanca wedding gown.  The happy couple took full advantage of the location near train tracks for some gorgeous and interesting shots.
